When it arrives, follow the directions to package your gown and up to 3 additional items (veil and/or headpiece, detachable train, jacket, ring pillow, money bag, purse, handkerchief, gloves, and garter). ** Slips, shoes, and silk bouquets are extra.

Q. Do I need to have my gown cleaned before sending it?
A. The Wedding Gown Preservation Co will handle all the cleaning necessary
Q. What exactly is the process they use to clean the gown?
A. Each gown is evaluated before cleaning & the best process for your particular gown is used. All the processes used are safe, gentle & done by hand. Please note: They do remove shoulder pads & bust forms, as leaving them in the gown could cause damage over time
Q. What stains are removed with the process?
A. They are able to remove at least 95% of all stains. Such as tar, blood, grass stains, mud, grease, and food are the most common, and any sugar stains such as cake icing, wine or other types of beverages.
Q. What can be seen through the display window?
A. You are able to see your gown and veil through the display window. Other items are positioned near the bottom of the window, where possible, or underneath the gown.
Q. If I need to open up the preservation chest at any time in the future, will that jeopardize or void the guarantee?
A. Your guarantee will not be voided, however, you should take care to reseal the chest with the the resealing material provided. You will also received gloves with which to handle the gown. If your gown is handled excessively or soiled, it should be cleaned and preserved again.

Please make sure you DO NOT store your gown in any moist area, such as your cellar, attic or any storage unit, as it can destroy your preservation.
