Sewing Lessons
Lessons provided to local residents to learn the basics of sewing or assisting in making a special project.
Share with me your expectations and/or goals so we can create a plan that will best fit your needs.
The average lesson time is 2 1/2 hours but is flexible.

All lessons to be done in your home or group center.

Unfortunately I cannot work in a smoke filled environment.

Rate does not include material costs.

Will be happy to shop locally with you at the hourly rate plus mileage.
Lessons Offered

Basic sewing lessons with a few simple projects of your choice after the basics of hand-stitching, understanding your machine, fabric selection, pattern selection, etc. is learned..

Have a special project or gift you would like help with? I will be happy to work with you to create the finished product. I will not do the work for you, but I will be happy to guide you to completion, or until you feel comfortable to complete the project on your own. Please

Party Plan - I am still working out the details of this service, but this is mostly designed for a girls party. Overall the client will provide a theme or idea of what they would like to accomplish...make something simple or embellish already made clothes, etc. Share your idea and we can
come up with an idea. We would need to have a few extra machines available so that the project could be completed during the allotted time frame.

Individual lessons - $25/hour plus mileage

Mother/Daughter (or son) lessons - $40/hour plus mileage

Small group (4 students) lessons - $25/hour per student plus mileage (mileage can be split among the group)
