Here you will also see my other "Monkey Fun" quilt for a young child or nursery setting. Also added Loads of new therapeutic rice bags! Be sure to check out my new addition for Fleece Wraps - many uses! 9/26/09 ** NEW** Added to website are new Baby Burp Bibs. They are made from 100% cotton flannel, contrasting fabrics on each side, and lined with 100& cotton Warm & Natural fill. They are very cuddly, and would make a nice addition to the oversized flannel blankets I make. I made some when our youngest was a baby, instead of using the cloth diapers, as they fit better over my shoulder. With more people interested in my baby items, and my enjoying them with our youngest daughter, I thought it would be great addition for others to enjoy. Sept 2009 - Many new things are happening at Davina Dawn Sewing Specialties - August and into September I was quite busy with wedding dress alterations. In addition I custom made a special dress for a grandmother of a bride. I started working on dresses for my oldest daughter's wedding that is scheduled for June 2010. I still have two more bridesmaid dresses to make, in addition to my own "Mother-of-the-Bride". 8/01/09 ** NEW ** Now accepting Mastercard/Visa/Debit Cards online ! ! ! I still accept cash, money order and personal checks. I will no longer be accepting Paypal or Google checkout. 7/01/09 - NEW: Shopping cart has been added to all available on-line products. If you come across a page that does not have a "buy now" button, or you have problems with the cart, please email and let me know. Alterations, mending and custom orders are being accepted upon schedule availability. If I find that it is not something that I can do, or my schedule is too tight, I will certainly let you know. Alterations and mending (depending on the order quantity) are typically completed within a week, yet during the heavy seasons, this could be longer. I ask that you try to provide a two week lead time, in the event the work load is excessive due to holidays or prom/wedding season. Although, most Wedding and other special occasion gowns can be done in the same time frame, it is requested that you provide a 4-6 week notice. Please review my formal gown alteration page(s) for more details. If you or someone you know is in need of a Christening gown, First Communion gown, doll dress, home decor type items, etc., start the planning process early. It is important to place these orders in a timely manner to avoid rush fees as well as to be sure you will have them in time for your special event or occasion. Custom work should be placed with at least a three month lead time. As I reflect on this past year and the nine years that I have been in business, I am so very thankful for my very loving and supportive husband of 29 years, our daughters and extended family.
