Laura from Davina Dawn Sewing Specialties is amazing. She truly did
magic on my wedding dress. I decided to refashion my mother's dress from
the 70's, and Laura recreated it better than it had looked in my head!
We took off a lot of fabric in the back and lace in the front. She then
took all of the original lace and redesigned it to fit down the V in the
back of my dress. Not only did it look gorgeous, but it fit me to a T. I
wouldn't trust anyone else with alterations now. Once you've had the
best, you don't want anything else!

June 13, 2011 - I was totally delighted to finally find someone who
actually took the time to listen to what I was wanting to have done to
my gown, then actually do everything we talked about. Laura took the
time necessary, without making me feel rushed, to listen to what I
wanted altered and changed to my wedding gown. She took the time to show
me different bustle options so I could decide what I really wanted.
Never once did I feel as though she was going to do something against
what I wanted.
When I went for my final fitting, I was totally satisfied to see how
lovely my dress fit my figure and how well the changes were made. I

Ahhhhh....I could not wait any longer...certainly not until Christmas. I had to give Dan his therapeutic rice bag so that I could use mine. I use mine at least every night while reading in bed before I go to sleep...on my lower back & left hip joint / thigh muscle. It REALLY makes a difference! It relaxes my muscles so
I can fall asleep more easily. PLUS it warms up the bed!
PS I have the rice bag on my lower back right now while sitting in my desk chair/sewing chair. Very helpful!
