Note: This nightgown was made specifically for the fuller bodied American Girl doll, yet if used as a hospital gown, although it fits loosely on the 18" Magic Attic doll, it works nicely here on Alison as a hospital gown. The top has pearl like pink button closure, elastic at wrist, with flair at hem of sleeve. Shirt opens on each side, giving room for when your doll is seated. (Will also fit Magic Attic Dolls - see gown below) Originally made as a special dress, but as I worked on this style, I thought it was more fitting for a feminine nightgown for a special girls doll. A pretty blue fabric trimmed with white lace. This fabric was very difficult to make button holes with, so I used buttons as decorations on the back, and used velcro for closure.
