All formal dresses were created as a gift for my daughter Heather and her bridal party: Bridal dress made to the brides specifications, Maid-of-Honor & Bridesmaids were allowed to select fabric and alter pattern to their specifications with bridal input, and the Mother-of-the-Bride dress was created from a
similar pattern. In order to have all dresses with a renaissance style, I designed a pattern to allow the Bridesmaid dress sleeves to match the Maid-of-Honor's sleeves. Due to the age of the party and personal preference, the bridal party had a more conservative neckline.

Bridal party dresses were specifically made different from one another.
Maid of Honor (sister of the bride) - Sparkle organza sleeves & overlay, sparkle casa satin for the main dress, with a soft lining. Sleeves were made with a shoulder drape, yet we included spaghetti straps for security. She also had a silver, floral trim around the high waistband, matching the sparkle
that was throughout the overlay.
Bridesmaid Dresses: Both dresses were lined with a soft lining. The 1st Bridesmaid (sister of the bride) used sparkle casa satin for her dress, and the 2nd Bridesmaid (cousin) used a plain casa satin. Sleeves used the same sparkle organza that was used for the Maid-of-Honor. The sleeves were
made to attach to the shoulders of the dress but have the same style as the Maid-of-Honor.
