Bridal, Prom
& Formal Gown Alteration Costs
Please be sure to read Bridal, Prom and Formal Gown notes prior to planning your alteration costs. Your actual cost could vary due to different situations/conditions.
Scheduling:
Feel free to call or email with your request for a fitting/consult.
Please provide contact information with your request.
Rescheduling:
Please be considerate. If you need to reschedule, please call 48 hours in advance during the work
week so that I can utilize that time more efficiently.
Promptness: Please plan to be on time.
I plan sufficient time for your specific alteration. Tardiness can result in the
possibility of your appointment having to be rescheduled or having an added expense.
What
to bring: The shoes and undergarments that you plan on wearing with
your particular gown. If you don't have your shoes, but know the heel
height, you are welcome to bring a pair that have the same height.
Bridal Gowns

Consult to create
your gown - Upfront cost to not be applied to your actual gown
construction. Limit to one hour consult.

you are having a dress restyled. In addition, if you decide you need

Bridal Alteration
Costs: Average $350 - $400 NOTE: in some cases it could be much less for a simple adjustment, yet much more for a
dress with a variety of alteration needs or with more delicate
features and/or lots of beading. These gowns that need a large
variety of alterations can result in a very expensive alteration (over
$600)

work is done on work being altered, but not the complete dress.

for your dress (with or without alteration) are available as a chargeable
service to you.

Extra lace, fabric,
buttons, etc. and/or notions will have additional charges added.
I will consider making you your
gown, but you will incur a consult fee which will not be applied to your order. I do not create
patterns but I can alter and/or combine them to meet your desired look. You will need to provide a pattern or patterns
for your desired gown that matches your specific measurements, and all materials. I
no longer research patterns for customers unless the client pays an upfront and
non-refundable service fee.. There is a
minimal non-refundable consult fee for custom dress, if you would like to discuss dress options, pattern and fabric selection, etc. This
is limited to 1 hour. An additional $50 is added if you go over the 1 hour
limit. Make an appointment to come by and discuss your ideas and options.
